LG V30 launching on August 31, will be available starting September 28

LG has already sent out press invites suggesting that the company will unveil the upcoming flagship LG V30 on August 31. The smartphone will be unveiled at an event which will take place in Berlin, Germany. So, we have an official word on when the company is going to unveil the smartphone, but until now we had no clue as of when the phone will be made available at different markets. However, now the latest report claims that the V30 will be launched globally on September 28.

The reports suggest that the LG V30 will first go on sale in South Korea on September 15, following with the pre-orders in the United States from September 17 and the sales will initiate from September 28. However, we still don't have any word as on when the device will be made available to other markets.

Meanwhile, it is also being said that the LG V30 may come with a glass back and will have support to wireless charging. This time the V30 might leave behind the secondary display, for which the company's V-series was known.

As far as the specifications are concerned, reports suggest that the LG V30 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC (System-on-chip) paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. However, there are still confusions whether the V30 will have a 6GB RAM variant or not. V30 is also expected to feature a dual-camera setup at the back and will be backed by a 3,300mAh battery. Few rumours also suggest that the V30 can come with the same dual-camera setup and dedicated DAC, which we have seen in the company’s flagship, the G6. The smartphone is likely to sport a 6-inch edge-to-edge OLED display with super thin bezels.
