Micromax Canvas Infinity Launched: Price, Specifications and more

Micromax India, today, unveiled their first smartphone with a bezel-less display calling it the Micromax Canvas Infinity. This is not a fully bezel-less smartphone, it is just nearly bezel-less with that 18:9 aspect ratio screen. The highlights of the smartphone include the display and the 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The Canvas Infinity looks a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S8, but the fact that it comes in for a cheaper price.

During their launch event, Micromax announced that they will be providing the Android Oreo update for the Micromax Canvas Infinity in the next few months.

Specifications

The Canvas Infinity is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor coupled with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The smartphone uses a dedicated microSD card instead of a hybrid slot. The phone features a 5.77-inch HD IPS display with a resolution of 1440x720 pixels. The device runs on Android Nougat out-of-the-box. All of this is backed by a 2,900mAh battery.

On the optics front, the Canvas Infinity sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and a LED flash. Up front, the phone includes a 16-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

As far as the connectivity is concerned, the phone features Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 4G and VoLTE. In the sensors department, the smartphone includes all the basic sensors like gravity, proximity, light, accelerometer and magnetic sensors.

Price and Availability

Micromax Canvas Infinity is currently priced at Rs. 9,999 and is available in only the black colour. The smartphone will be available starting September 1 exclusively via Amazon India, the registrations for the device starting today.
