Micromax's sub-brand Yu has made a comeback to the smartphone industry with the launch of their new entry-level smartphone, the Yu Ace. The highlights of the smartphone include the 18:9 display and the 4,000mAh battery. With a price tag of Rs. 5,999, the Yu Ace is set to go on sale exclusively via Flipkart starting September 6.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Micromax Yu Ace features a 5.45-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1440 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. At the heart of the Yu Ace sits the MediaTek 6739 chipset. The dual-SIM handset packs in 2GB of RAM coupled with 16GB of internal storage. It runs on Android Oreo out of the box and the company assures an Android Pie update in November. All of this is backed by a 4,000mAh battery.
In the camera department, Micromax Yu Ace sports a 13-megapixel camera at the back. To the front, the device gets a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A is one of the most popular options when it comes to the entry-level smartphones. The smartphone features a 5-inch IPS LCD display and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor. The dual-SIM handset comes with up to 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage and it is available at a starting price of Rs. 5,999. We would highly recommend waiting for the Xiaomi Redmi 6A which is expected to launch on September 5.
10.or E does not impress anyone in terms of the looks. However, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC coupled with up to 3GB of RAM. The device sports a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The smartphone is available at a starting price of Rs. 5,699.

iVoomi i2 Lite is a great alternative to the Yu Ace as it comes with an 18:9 display and has a lot of similarities. It features a 5.45-inch display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the same MediaTek MTK6739 chipset and comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage. The handset runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box and it is available with a price tag of Rs. 6,499.
