Motorola, now a company under Lenovo mainly known for its smartphones, is looking to bring a new generation of its hit sub-brand 'G'. Moto G5 Plus, leaked images surface all over google+ which reveals a lot about the phone features.
Moto G5 Leak reveals
The phone will have a 5.2-inch display, ditching the 5.5-inch display of its predecessor. Powered with an enhanced 2.0GHz octa-core processor, most probably Snapdragon 625. Other details include a 12MP "Rapid Focus" imaging sensor at rear end, 3000mAh battery with Motorola's proprietary TurboPower fast charging tech, NFC, and Motorola Experiences.
The first thing notice from the image is the new shape of the fingerprint sensor and how it is different to the square-shaped one found on the Moto Z & G family.
Also leaked, the phone will have 2 sensors on the camera one is a laser sensor and the other is currently unknown. Also the smartphone will be made completely from aluminium and glass.
Previous leaks
Based on earlier leaks, the Moto G5 Plus is said to sport a pixel density of 403 ppi, and come powered by a Snapdragon 625 processor. It is expected to include 4GB of RAM and come with 32GB storage. The Moto G5 Plus is further said to run Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.
Price and availability
Lenovo is widely expected to unveil the rumored Moto G5 alongside Moto G5 Plus on the company's February 26 event at the sidelines of MWC 2017 in Barcelona. The expected price will start from €189. Lenovo is likely to start shipping the phone in first week of march.
