Moto Z2 Force finally launched in India: Price, Specifications and Availability

Lenovo-owned Moto has finally launched the much awaited Moto Z2 Force in India. The smartphone was first unveiled in the month of July last year. The smartphone has now finally made its way to the Indian markets. The Z2 Force is another variant of the flagship Z2. The biggest highlight of the device is its shatterproof display. The smartphone is launched to compete directly against the likes of OnePlus 5T, Nokia 8 and Xiaomi Mi Mix 2.

Specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Moto Z2 Force is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset. The smartphone features a 5.5-inch P-OLED display with a resolution of 1440x2560 pixels. The device packs in 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. Storage on the Z2 Force is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 2,730mAh battery with the support to Motorola's Turbo Charging.

On the optics front, the Moto Z2 Force sports a dual camera setup at the back. The dual camera setup consists of two 12-megapixel sensors with phase detection and laser autofocus and a dual-LED flash. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter. The front camera comes with f/2.2 aperture and a dual-LED flash.

In terms of connectivity, the Moto Z2 Force 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, A-GPS, NFC and a USB Type-C port. The smartphone is splash resistant and also comes with a fingerprint scanner up front.

Price and Availability

The Moto Z2 Force has launched in India with a price tag of Rs. 34,999. The smartphone will be exclusively available at Flipkart and Moto Hub stores. The Z2 Force can be purchased starting today, 11:59 PM. interestingly, Moto Z2 Force will come bundled with TurboPower Pack Moto Mod which is priced at Rs. 5,999.
