HMD Global recently unveiled the Nokia 2 and it now finally has a price tag. The Nokia 2 is launched in India at a price of Rs. 6,999 making it the cheapest of the company's portfolio. The highlight of the smartphone is the 4,100mAh battery for which Nokia claims that the smartphone will deliver up to 2-days of battery life.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nokia 2 features a 5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 SoC which is a quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz. The device packs in 1GB of RAM and 8GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 128GB using a microSD card. The Nokia 2 runs on a stock version of Google's Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 4,100mAg battery powering up the internals.

For the optics, the Nokia 2 sports an 8-megapixel camera at the back with autofocus and a LED flash. The smartphone also comes with a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
The budget-oriented Nokia 2 is currently priced at Rs. 6,999 and will be available at all retail stores starting November 24. The smartphone is available in Pewter/Black, Pewter/White and Copper/Black colour variants. Nokia has partnered with Jio to bring some attractive offers where Jio users can availGB of 4G data on purchase of the Nokia 2. The customers will also get additional 5GB data on every recharge of Rs. 309 or above for the next 9 recharges until August 31, 2018.
