Nubia Red Magic 3 with 90Hz screen launched: Price, specifications and more

Chinese smartphone brand, Nubia has just announced a new smartphone, the Nubia Red Magic 3. It is a successor to the company's last gaming smartphone, the Nubia Red Magic 2. The key highlights of the new smartphone include the 90Hz screen, a massive 5000mAh battery and more.

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Nubia Red Magic 3 comes with a 6.65-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display with a refresh rate of 90Hz. The device comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with the Adreno 640 GPU. It will be available with 6GB, 8GB or 12GB of RAM with either 128GB or 256GB of onboard storage. All of this is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery, which supports the company's all-new 30W fast charging technology.

On the optics front, the Nubia Red Magic 3 sports a 48-megapixel camera at the back. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter.

Apart from that, the Nubia Red Magic 3 also gets an active cooling system, which will prevent the device from heating over long gaming sessions. The smartphone also comes with RGB lighting, dual front-facing stereo speakers, DTS:X and 3D sound technologies. It also gets Red Magic Game Space 2.0, which will improve the gaming performance on the software front.

The Nubia Red Magic 3 will be launched in China on May 3. However, there is no word yet as of when the device will make its way to other countries. In terms of the pricing, the Red Magic 3 will be available at a starting price of CNY 3199 (roughly Rs. 33,200). The top-of-the-line variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will come with a price tag of CNY 4299 Yuan (roughly Rs 45,000).
