Nuu Mobile M3: Hands-on Review

Nuu Mobile on Thursday launched four new smartphones and the M3 is the best-looking device of the lot with an all metal body and a with a very smooth finish. M3 has a 5.5-inch HD IPS display. The colours are vibrant and device over all feels pretty premium. However, the device lacks a very ordinary feature of fingerprint-sensor. The specifications aren't the ones that would catch your eyes. The device is priced at Rs. 12,499. At this price, the Nuu M3 isn't comparable to its competition.

Specification of the Nuu M3

The device sports a 5.5-inch HD IPS screen with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. The device has good viewing angles which are bright and also with fairly impressive colours. Nuu M3 is powered by a 1.3GHz MediaTek MTK6737 SoC, which is coupled with just 2GB of RAM. M3 has internal storage of 32GB, which is expandable through MicroSD. The Nuu M3 is running on stock Android 7.0 Nougat Out-of-the-box.

The camera on the M3 is equipped with a primary shooter lens of 8-megapixel on the back. The front of the device has a 5-megapixel sensor for your selfie needs. The device is also equipped with a battery of 3,200mAh and offers all basic connectivity features.

Hands On Review

The device feels quite premium to hold with all metal body and rounded corners. Similar to all other Nuu smartphones, this also features a MediaTek SoC, which quite frankly is disappointing at this price. The device isn't equipped for any kind of hardcore gaming. The device doesn't feature a Fingerprint sensor, which is quite a big letdown, as that feature can be found on device half the price of M3. The battery is also quite small for a 5.5-inch HD display, and there is no confirmation of fast-charging. We took some photos in good lighting conditions and pictures appeared to be quite comparable to any entry-level Android smartphone. The device even with its price tag doesn't offer anything out of the ordinary and misses out on some very common features.
