OnePlus is as always making the launch of its next smartphone a bit spicy by throwing away tips on the smartphone. Earlier, Pete Lau, the CEO of OnePlus made a tweet showing 5 cups of tea which pointed towards the launch of OnePlus 5T. Now the company's official Twitter handle made a tweet flaunting Manhattan City, New York and asking fans to guess where the OnePlus 5T could possibly launch. OnePlus and Pete Lau are expected to keep the things spiced up until they finally take the wraps off the successor to the OnePlus 5.
Apart from the tweets, OnePlus 5T was recently spotted on GFX Bench revealing most of its key specifications. The listing showed the model number A5010. The smartphone sports a 6-inch display with a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels and an aspect ratio of 18:9. The device spotted on GFX was running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat instead of the latest Android Oreo operating system. The benchmark listing also reveals that just like the OnePlus 5, the 5T will also have two variants, one with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage and the other with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage.

In the camera department, the OnePlus 5T is expected to feature a 20-megapixel front-facing camera which is an upgrade over the 16-megapixel sensor found on the OnePlus 5. Interestingly, the benchmark listing shows only a 16-megapixel camera sensor at the back, which could mean that the dual-camera setup at the back will consist of two 16-megapixel sensors.
Earlier leaks and rumours suggested that the OnePlus 5T will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC which was not mentioned in the listing.
