OnePlus 6 was launched today globally at an event held in London. The OnePlus 6 at the first glance seems a lot like the Apple iPhone X from the front and the Samsung Galaxy S9 from the rear. With this smartphone, the company seems to be bringing back the all-glass design it had showcased back on the OnePlus X, which might be a smartphone that the company wants you to forget. The OnePlus 6 will start at $529 for the 6GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant. The company will be launching the smartphone in India on May 17 where we will be getting to know what price the smartphone will be available. The current leaks suggest, that the OnePlus 6 will start at Rs. 36,999.
As for the specifications, the OnePlus 6 sports a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 19:9 aspect ratio thanks to the notch on the top of the screen. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor. The device will be available with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The company during the launch seemed pretty adamant about the retention of 3.5mm jack which might come as redemption to it for the notch. The device will come running on Google's Android 8.1 Oreo operating system while at the same time the company will be making available the Android P beta ROM available for sideloading. All of this will be backed by a 3,300mAh non-removable battery compatible with the company's own Dash Charge technology.

On the front, we get to see a 16-megapixel camera for selfies. The company says that they have improved a lot on the camera quality. However, that remains to be tested.
