OnePlus 7T, OnePlus 7T Pro and the much awaited OnePlus TV are expected to launch next month. Here's everything we know so far.
OnePlus has been on the news lately due to their upcoming announcement of the OnePlus TV. Apart from the TV, the company is also gearing up to launch the next generation of smartphones, the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro. Unlike the past launches, this time around the Chinese smartphone manufacturer is planning to launch the new smartphones in September.
Just like other Chinese brands, OnePlus is also trying to diversify its portfolio by not only launching smartphones but also other products. The brand is now trying to enter the Smart TV space by launching its own 55-inch Android TV.
A screenshot of the "About TV" settings page of the OnePlus TV has been leaked on the internet and it gives us some necessary details about the television. To begin with, it comes with a 1920x1080 panel and runs on Google's Android 9 Pie operating system. It further suggests that the TV will be powered by the MediaTek MT5670 chipset coupled with 3GB of RAM under the hood.
While the company has been launching two phones a year, they just changed the tradition by launching the OnePlus 7 Pro. So now, instead of two phones a year, they will be launching a total of four phones in a year. The Pro variant will carry all the bells and whistles and compete directly against flagships like the Galaxy Note or the iPhone whereas the regular variant will target the audience shopping on a budget.
The renders of the OnePlus 7T have already started to show up. The phone is expected to come with a triple camera setup at the back. Upfront, it will bring back the same design we saw on the 6T and the 7. Apart from that, the processor and RAM options are expected to be the same as the OnePlus 7.

It is being said that the company might launch a OnePlus 7T McLaren "Senna" Edition as well. Just like last year, it will carry a different colour scheme and design on the back and it might also bring some extra features over the regular variant.
Since the T variants are usually incremental upgrades, the OnePlus 7T Pro is expected to carry a lot of 7 Pro traits. It is said to come with the same curved 90Hz high-resolution display. It might come with the upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor coupled with up to 12GB of RAM. Also, there might be a 5G variant of the smartphone in certain markets as well.
The above-mentioned devices are expected to launch on September 26 and go on sale by October 15. However, all of this can be taken with a pinch of salt and we will have to wait to see what the company actually has been cooking in the kitchen.
