Oppo Reno will be the first smartphone to come with a 10x loss-less zoom lens. Here's everything you need to know

Oppo Reno is set to unveil on April 10

Oppo is planning to launch a new smartphone called Oppo Reno. The smartphone will be the first from the company's new sub-brand Reno. It will be unveiled at an event on April 10. According to a recent report, the phone has received certification from the IMDA agency in Singapore as well as the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG).

Such certifications suggest that the smartphone will not be exclusive to China but will also make its way to the other markets. These certifications also help in providing some of the key features of the smartphone. The first Oppo Reno smartphone will sport the model number CPH1917.

As for the specifications, the upcoming Oppo Reno smartphone will feature a 6.4-inch Full HD+ display. The device will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset coupled with Adreno 616 GPU. Being an Oppo smartphone, it will run on ColorOS 6.0 based on Google's Android 9.0 Pie operating system.

The company recently launched the Oppo F11 and F11 Pro smartphones. The F11 Pro comes with a 48-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel pop camera for selfies.
