Realme UI based on ColorOS 7 and Android 10 launched in India: Everything you need to know

All Realme smartphones launching after today will run Realme UI. Here's everything know need to know about the new user interface.

Realme UI comes with a range of customisations, which include system colours, icons, wallpapers and animations.

Realme has officially launched its Android 10 based Realme UI, which is a fork of Oppo's ColorOS 7 skin. The company claims that the skin has been designed with young consumers as a target. It states that with the Realme UI, it has adhered to the concept of Real Design, which brings a simplifies experience to users.

The new Realme UI comes with a range of customisations, which include system colours, icons, wallpapers and animations. The interface comes with high-saturation and high-brightness colours, overall.

App icons are inspired by common household items, which the users can further customise in terms of shape and size. Users will also be able to customise the internal graphic size of the icons.

Apart from icon customisations, the new Realme UI also brings 11 new wallpapers, which the company claims are inspired by natural elements. The new interface includes various power-saving features.

Realme has used Oppo's Quantum Animation Engine, which has been made available with the release of ColorOS 7, which improves the screen frequency and delivers an optimised experience. The Personal Information Protection feature, according to the company, can provide empty information pages when apps request access to the user's personal information.

The new Focus Mode lets users isolate themselves from the outside world for some time and concentrate on important tasks, while at the same time listening to relaxing music. The new 3-Finger Screenshot option lets users select a specific area on the display by tapping and holding on the display with three fingers for a few seconds.

As of now, we do not know which all phones does Realme plans to release the new operating system too. And when will it start doing so. However, the company via its Twitter handle has been assuring users that they will start receiving the update this month.
