Samsung is gearing up to unveil the Galaxy Note 10, Note 10 Pro at their upcoming Samsung Unpacked event. Here's what to expect.
After a successful launch of the Samsung Galaxy S10 series, the South Korean giant is now gearing up for their next Samsung Unpacked event to launch another flagship series. The company is launching the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 10 on August 7. Apart from the Note 10, they will also be launching another variant dubbed Galaxy Note 10 Pro.
Unlike the last few years, this time Samsung is planning to launch two different variants of their Galaxy Note line-up to hit a larger market. While the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 will come with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display, the Pro variant will sport a larger 6.75-inch panel. Apart from that, there will also be 5G variants of both the smartphones available in some parts of the globe.
As mentioned above, the Galaxy Note 10 Pro will come with a 6.75-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440p and punch-hole design. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset in the US whereas the other markets will get the Exynos 9820 processor variant. Just like the Galaxy S10 Plus, the Note 10 Pro will also come with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage.
However, there are reports that the phone might get USF 3.0 storage instead of the USF 2.1 standard found on the Galaxy S10 line-up.
As far as the battery capacity is concerned, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro is expected to come with at least 4,500mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging. However, a recent report by 91 Mobiles suggests that both the Note 10 models might come with a smaller, 4,170mAh battery.
In terms of the cameras, the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Pro will feature a quad-camera setup consisting of a 12-megapixel primary, a 12-megapixel telephoto, a 16-megapixel ultrawide and a Time of Flight sensor. For selfie, the smartphone is likely to come with a single lens up front.

The Galaxy Note 10 will be quite similar to the Pro variant with just a few changes here and there. To begin with, the most noticeable change has to be the screen size. The regular Note 10 is expected to come with a 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display. Further, instead of a quad camera setup, the regular variant will get a triple camera setup as it will skip on the ToF sensor.
However, this report can be taken with a pinch of salt as we will have to wait until August to see what Samsung has really planned out.
