Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ launch date set, Pre-orders starting March 2018

We all know that currently the South Korean giant, Samsung, is working hard on introducing their next flagship Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. All the leaks and rumours have given us a glimpse of what the devices will look like and what will they carry under the hood. A recent leak has also confirmed the exact launch date of the smartphone alongside the pre-orders and shipping dates.

A renowned tipster, Evan Blass, in his recent tweet claimed that Samsung will take the wraps off the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus on February 26. To recall, Samsung's Mobile Communications Business President DJ Koh, during the CES 2018, revealed that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be unveiled during MWC 2018 which is scheduled for February 26 to March 1.

Evan Blass further claimed that the upcoming flagships Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be available for pre-orders starting March 1. The tipster also said that the company will start shipping the smartphones starting March 16. Blass says that these details have been leaked via a C-level executive at a major case maker.

Earlier leaks have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+ will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 for the U.S. variants while other regions will get Exynos 9810 powered variant. A recent leak also claimed that the Galaxy S9 and S9+ will have the same battery capacities as found in the Galaxy S8 and S8+ respectively. The Galaxy S9 is expected to get a single rear camera module while the larger Galaxy S9+ might get a dual-camera setup at the back.
