According to a recent report by The Bell, Korean tech giant Samsung Electronics is expected to launch the Galaxy S9 and S9+ with the same shape and size as of the Galaxy S8 and S8+ respectively. Reports claim that Samsung has given the display-specifications of the S9 to its display-making unit. The Samsung Galaxy S9 is said to come with a 5.77-inch display, while the S9+ will sport a larger 6.22-inch display.
Samsung will also continue with their “Infinity Display” design pattern with no physical home button. Reports also suggest that the company may give an attempt to in-screen embedded fingerprint scanner which couldn’t make its way to the S8 due to some technical issues. This year the company will not take any risks with their flagship devices, as per the reports.
Meanwhile, few reports claim that Samsung is set to unveil the Galaxy Note 8 on August 23 in New York, United States of America.
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ are powered by the Exynos 8895 Octa-core processor coupled with the Mali-G71 MP20 GPU. The S8 features a beautiful 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440x2960 pixels and a pixel density of 570 ppi. Meanwhile, the S8+ comes with a larger 6.2-inch display. The S8 and S8+ come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage. On the camera department, the smartphones have a 12-megapixel primary camera with an aperture of f/1.7 and phase detection autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization and a LED flash. For selfies and video calling, the phones have an 8-megapixel autofocus camera with f/1.7 aperture.
