Oppo has finally launched the Oppo K1 smartphone with an in-display fingerprint scanner in India. Here are the alternatives to consider
Oppo has just launched the Oppo K1 smartphone in India, which comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and a water drop style notch. It is one of the cheapest smartphones to feature an in-display fingerprint scanner and one of the very few phones under Rs. 20,000 to sport an AMOLED display. Priced at Rs. 16,990, the Oppo K1 has a lot to offer but here are some alternatives you should consider as well.
If you want something similar to the Oppo K1 but at a lower price point, the Realme 2 Pro might be the right choice. It sports a dual-camera setup at the back and a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. It comes with the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. The phone features a water drop notch up front and it is currently available for a starting price of Rs. 13,990.
Unlike the Oppo K1, the Asus ZenFone Max Pro runs on stock Android. It also comes with a glass sandwich design and a notched display. It is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC paired with up to 6GB of RAM. Asus ZenFone Max Pro M2 is currently available at a starting price of Rs. 12,999.

Honor 8X also runs on a custom UI called EMUI. It features a 6.5-inch FullHD+ IPS LCD display. It comes with the Kirin 710 processor coupled with up to 6GB of RAM. It packs in 64GB of onboard storage, which is further expandable using a microSD card. Honor 8X is available at a starting price of Rs. 14,999.
Xiaomi recently launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro in India. It comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor. It features a dual-camera setup at the front as well as the back. Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with a notched display and it is currently available in India at a starting price of Rs. 13,999.
