Top 5 smartphones launching in May 2019: OnePlus 7, Pixel 3a and more

Every month we witness new smartphones. The month of May will be no less with smartphones like OnePlus 7 Pro and Honor 20 launching.

In the month of April, we saw a lot of mid-range and budget oriented devices. Now, in the month of May, we are going to see more of the flagship and premium smartphones. From the much-anticipated OnePlus 7 Pro to Honor 20, here are the top 5 smartphones launching in May 2019.

Google Pixel 3a

The Pixel 3a will look quite similar to the Pixel 3.

Google is planning to launch a new mid-range device for the first time. The smartphone is expected to be called as the Google Pixel 3a and would be a toned down version of the Pixel 3. The device is set to launch at Google I/O on May 7. Rumours suggest that the smartphone will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 670 processor.

OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro

One of the most anticipated launches of the next month is the OnePlus 7 series launch. This time around, the company is gearing to launch two new smartphones at their event on May 14. While the OnePlus 7 will come with a water-drop style notch, the OnePlus 7 Pro will come with a pop-up selfie camera and a curved display. Both the smartphones will boast flagship grade specifications including the Snapdragon 855 processor.

Honor 20

Honor is also launching a new flagship smartphone on May 21. The device is expected to come with the company's latest Kirin 980 processor. It will come with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage. Other expected features of the phone include a FullHD OLED panel and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.

Asus ZenFone 6

Asus ZenFone 6 will be launched in Spain on May 16.

Asus has also announced an event on May 16, where they will be unveiling their next flagship smartphone, the Asus ZenFone 6. The event is taking place in Spain and the event might showcase more than just one smartphone. The flagship variant is expected to come with the Snapdragon 855 processor.

Poco F2

The Poco F1 successor might have a smaller notch up front.

Xiaomi's sub-brand Poco launched their first smartphone quite some time ago. Its now time for an upgrade and the company might finally launch the much awaited Poco F2 smartphone on May 8. The device will come with a better design and upgraded internals.
