Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has a launch event upcoming in India where they will unveil the Vivo V9. The much-awaited Vivo V9 has been unveiled in Thailand a day ahead of the India launch. So now we know that how the smartphone looks and what it carries under the hood. However, we will still have to wait for the India launch to know about the pricing and availability details.
In terms of specifications, the Vivo V9 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 SoC. The smartphone features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The device packs in 4GB of RAM coupled with 64GB of onboard storage. Storage on the smartphone is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The Vivo V9 runs on Funtouch OS 4.0 based on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 3,260mAh battery powering up the internals.

On the optics front, the Vivo V9 sports a dual camera setup at the back. The dual cameras include a 16-megapixel and a 5-megapixel sensor. The rear camera supports HDR Mode and some AI techniques introduced by the company. Up front, there is a whopping 24-megapixel selfie shooter. The front-facing camera offers features like Portrait mode, AR Stickers and Face Beauty.
As for the connectivity, the Vivo V9 supports 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS and a microUSB port with OTG support.
