Vivo V9 Youth now available for Rs. 17,990: Here are some alternatives

Vivo V9 Youth has a notch up front

Vivo recently launched the Vivo V9 and V9 Youth in India. The company has already reduced the price of the cheaper V9 Youth. The smartphone has received a price cut of Rs. 1,000 bringing its price down from Rs. 18,990 to Rs. 17,990. However, Flipkart is still selling the smartphone at its launch price. Vivo has officially made the announcement, so the price cut must be applicable at the offline stores by now.

Specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Vivo V9 Youth features a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080x2280 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset. The device packs in 4GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. Under the hood, there is a 3260mAh battery powering up the device.

On the optics front, the Vivo V9 Youth sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 16-megapixel and a 2-megapixel sensor. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter

Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro is currently one of the best mid-range smartphones available in India. The Redmi Note 5 Pro features a 5.99-inch FullHD+ display. The handset is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM. The phone is priced at Rs. 14,999 for the 32GB variant while the 64GB variant is available for Rs. 16,999.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1

The ZenFone Max Pro M1 packs in a lot of power at a starting price of just Rs. 10,999. The dual-SIM handset comes with the powerful Snapdragon 636 processor.
