Vivo Y81 launched in Vietnam: Here are the alternatives available in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Vivo has launched a new mid-range smartphone in Vietnam. The Vivo Y81 look very similar to the recently launched Y83 as both the devices come with an iPhone X-like notch up front. The Y81 is available at a price of VND 4,990,000 (roughly Rs. 14,900).

Specifications

As far as the specifications are concerned, the Vivo Y81 features a 6.22-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720x1520 pixels and a 19:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek MT6762 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM. The dual-SIM handset comes with 32GB of onboard storage which is further expandable up to 256GB using a microSD card. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and it is backed by a 3,260mAh battery.

On the optics front, the Vivo Y81 sports a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash at the back. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.

Alternatives

The Vivo Y81 is currently available only in Vietnam and will not make its way to India any time soon. So, here are some alternatives you can buy right now.
