Xiaomi, the Chinese giant, has been in the news lately due to their upcoming events. The company is about to launch the second edition of its bezel less display smartphone. As the excitement grows for the Mi Mix 2, the company has another surprise before the Mi Mix 2 launch on September 11. On September 5, Xiaomi is said to launch its first smartphone with a stock Android experience. The phone will run on Android One stock Android 7.1.2 Nougat and will be dubbed as Xiaomi Mi A1.
The upcoming Android One smartphone from Xiaomi has been spotted on the Geekbench where it gives a sneak peak on what the device will bring under the hood. According to the benchmark listing, the phone's name is Xiaomi Mi A1 and it is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 processor. The listing claims that the phone comes with 4GB of RAM and runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat. The Xiaomi Mi A1 manages to get a score of 852 in single-core test and 3837 in multi-core test which is comparatively higher than the Mi 5X which comprises of the same hardware but runs on MIUI.

Xiaomi launched the Mi 5X a few weeks ago and the smartphone couldn't make its way to India. The Mi 5X features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution 1080x1920 pixels. The smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM. The phone sports a 12-megapixel dual-camera setup at the back.
The Xiaomi Mi A1 will have a similar design and specifications to the Mi 5X, and the only difference would be the software experience. As Xiaomi partnered up with Google for the Mi A1 will deliver pure stock Android experience resulting in higher performance. The phone is expected to launch at somewhere around Rs. 15,000 in India.
