Xiaomi has already started rolling out the media invites for an upcoming event which will be hosted in Spain on July 24. The company is gearing up to launch the much awaited Xiaomi Mi A2 at the event alongside cheaper variant of the smartphone, the Mi A2 Lite. The smartphones have been spotted on a Portugal retail website ahead of the official launch.
The products were first spotted by Slashleaks. According to the reports, the Xiaomi Mi A2 Lite will sport a 19:9 display due to the notch up front. However, the Mi A2 will stick to the traditional 18:9 display.
As per the reports, the Xiaomi Mi A2 will come with the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC whereas the Mi A2 Lite will be powered by the Snapdragon 625 chipset. The Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite come with 32GB and 64GB storage options. Mi A2 buyers can choose between 4GB or 6GB of RAM while Mi A2 Lite comes with 3GB or 4GB of RAM.

Both the smartphones run on stock Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite are backed by 3,010mAh and 4,000mAh batteries respectively.
For optics, both the smartphones sport a dual-camera setup at the back. The Mi A2 has a 12MP+20MP setup while the Mi A2 Lite gets a 12MP+5MP setup. Just like the Redmi Note 5 Pro, the Mi A2 is getting a 20-megapixel selfie shooter whereas the Mi A2 Lite features a 5-megapixel selfie snapper.
