Poco F1 starts receiving Android 10 based MIUI 11 update. Here's how you can download and install the update.

Poco F1 gets the latest version of Android.

Poco has started rolling out the much-awaited Android 10 update for the Poco F1. The new update comes with Xiaomi's latest MIUI 11 layered on top.  This means that the update not only brings all the new features introduced by Google but also brings an array of features launched by Xiaomi for the MIUI 11. Here's what you get with the new update and how you can download and install it on your smartphone today.

Poco F1 has started receiving the OTA (Over-the-Air) update that bumps up the version number to 11.0.4.0QEJMIXM and brings the latest January 2020 Android security patch. The update weighs in at around 1.9GB and brings a host of features.

Google's Android 10 operating system brings features like Live Caption, focus mode, new parental controls and more. The update even offers new navigation gestures alongside enhanced privacy and location tools.

Apart from that, Xiaomi's MIUI 11 adds its own set of new features to the experience. The MIUI 11 brings a better dark mode, new calculator app, a better design and much more. MIUI 11 is now available on most Xiaomi smartphones including the Redmi Note 8 Pro, Redmi K20 and more.

Poco F1 was launched with Android 8.1 Oreo back in 2018. Since then, a lot has changed. Manu Kumar Jain recently announced that Poco will not be Xiaomi's sub-brand anymore and will have a separate entity and a separate team altogether. At the time of launch, the Poco F1 shook the market by bringing a flagship processor at under Rs. 20,000. The smartphone is currently available with a starting price tag of Rs. 14,999, which is still a good deal to consider.
