YouTube has a fresh strategy to weed out content stealers
YouTube has announced that ad placement will now only be available to the channels with a minimum of 10,000 views. This is a tweaked ad strategy from youtube to remove the people who make money on the site by stealing content from other sources.
They also made it clear, that once a channel on their platform crosses the 10,000 views mark, they would review the content to verify its authenticity and if it qualifies for the ad placements.
By keeping the threshold to 10k views, we also ensure that there will be minimal impact on our aspiring creators.

In recent times, Youtube has been criticized a lot for showing ads on videos depicting homophobic or anti-semitic content. Thus, in return prompting a huge number of companies to suspend showing ads on the platform. YouTube promised an overhaul of its practices last month, saying they have started an extensive review of its advertising policies.
The 10,000 views review policy will start in a few weeks and for newer creators, it would be necessary for applying to the partner program. Also as per them any revenue earned by channels without 10,000 views till Thursday will stay unaffected.
