Yahoo has introduced its own new instant messaging application in order to compete against Facebook's WhatsApp. The Squirrel app from Yahoo is just like most messaging applications which allow personal 1-to-1 chats as well as allows you to create a group and have a group chat.
Yahoo Squirrel offers organized chats and allows users to create different room and they can even make them private. Users can also create customised one-tap reactions for jokes or other messages. In group chats, Squirrel brings in a feature called blasts where the important messages will be pinned so that everyone reads it.
Currently, the Yahoo Squirrel app is available only on invite basis where a user has to invite in order to allow you to download and install the application.
