While Nokia has already launched the Nokia 1, Huawei announced at the MWC 2018 that it will soon be coming up with an Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphones. As far as the specifications are concerned, the Huawei executive Zhao Likun told Android Authority that the smartphone comes equipped with 1GB of RAM. The storage on the smartphone will be 16GB.

To recall, Android Oreo (Go Edition) is a toned down version of Android Oreo launched a few weeks after the official launch of Android Oreo. The new operating system is lightweight and focuses on bringing smooth performance on smartphones with 1GB or even 512MB of RAM. It also uses different versions of applications to save on space. So, the Android Oreo (Go Edition) smartphone should work fine even on phones with storage as less as 8GB.
