Huawei Y9s: Specifications
Huawei Y9s sports a 6.59-inch full HD+ display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and a 391PPI density. It comes with a 91 percent screen-to-body ratio with no notches or hole-punch cutouts, thanks to the motorised pop-up camera module.
It is powered by the company's own Kirin 710F processor paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. For security, the device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, which unlocks the phone within 0.3 seconds according to the brand.
The device runs Google's Android 9 Pie operating system with the company's own EMUI 9.1 skin on top. It is unknown if the device will come with support for Google services like the Play Store, Gmail, YouTube and more? Or will it not come with them and instead include alternatives like the Huawei App Gallery? Guess, we will just have to wait and see.
Huawei Y9s sports a triple back camera setup, consisting of a 48-megapixel primary sensor paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor. On the front, it features a 16-megapixel sensor for video calls and taking selfies.
All of this will be backed by a 4,000mAh battery with support for fast charging. The company claims that the device can last for around 40 hours on a single charge while calling.
