While Android Q just got its first Developer Preview, Asus has finally released a timeline for the much awaited Android 9.0 Pie update. The company confirms that its popular budget smartphones, the ZenFone Max Pro M2 and ZenFone Max M2 will get the Android 9.0 Pie update latest by April 15 via OTA.
Notably, Asus has missed a provided deadline once but the company is working to roll out the stable version by April 15 now. It is most probably because they do not want users to encounter any bugs or issues when it is officially available. However, if you cannot wait, you can still participate in the company's beta program by heading over to the beta page.
