Asus has finally launched its second gaming smartphone, the ROG Phone 2. It is a successor to the ROG Phone and it brings way more powerful specifications. The key highlights of the smartphone include the 120Hz display, the latest flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor and more.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the ROG Phone 2 features a 6.59-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 2340x1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The gaming smartphone is powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ processor coupled with the Adreno 640 GPU. It also packs in up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of onboard storage. All of this is backed by a 6,000mAh battery.
On the optics front, the Asus ROG Phone 2 features a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary and a 13-megapixel ultrawide sensor. Upfront, there is a 24-megapixel selfie shooter with an aperture of f/2.2.
In terms of connectivity, the all-new ROG Phone 2 supports Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, GLONASS, NFC, USB 3.1 Type-C, 3.5mm headphone jack and more. The smartphone also supports 30W ROG HyperCharge technology.

ROG Phone 2 also comes with some additional features that help to make the gaming experience better. The device comes with second-generation AeroActive Cooler, which helps the internals stay cool even during long gaming sessions. Further, the smartphone also supports DTS:X Ultra that helps simulate multi-channel audio.
Apart from the specifications, the ROG Phone 2 looks quite similar to its predecessor. While there might be a few changes here and there, they still share a lot in common in terms of design.
