Google has its launch event around the corner where it will take the wraps off the much-anticipated Google Pixel 2 and the Pixel 2 XL. The launch event will be held on October 4 in San Fransisco. Along with the Pixel 2 series of smartphones, Google will also announce the new Pixelbook, Daydream VR 2, Home Mini Speaker and much more. Thankfully Google will be live streaming the event so that people can watch the event being anywhere in the world with an internet connection.

The event is being held on Tuesday, October 4 and is scheduled to start at 9 AM according to the Pacific Time which converts to 9:30 PM IST. As per the rumours, the Google Pixel 2 XL flaunts a 6-inch bezel-less display up front with a resolution of 1440×2880 pixels. While the Pixel 2 will sport a smaller 5-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both the smartphones are expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with the Adreno 540 GPU.
As far as the pricing is concerned, the leaks suggest, Google Pixel 2 XL, manufactured by LG, will be priced at $849 (roughly Rs. 56,000) for the 64GB variant while the 256GB variant will go on sale for $949 which roughly converts to Rs. 62,500. On the other hand, the smaller variant which is manufactured by HTC will be priced at $649 (roughly Rs. 42,500) for the 64GB variant whereas the 256GB variant will come with a price tag of $749 (roughly Rs. 50,000).
