Bezel-less displays become a trend in 2017 where most smartphone companies launched phones with 18:9 display. Though HTC is late in the game, the company has finally launched the HTC U11+ in India. The HTC U11+ is a larger variant of the flagship U11 and sports an 18:9 display. The smartphone was initially introduced in Europe and now has finally made its way to Indian markets.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the HTC U11 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. The smartphone features a 6-inch Super LCD display. The display comes with a resolution of 1440x2880 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The device packs in 4GB or 6GB of RAM with either 64GB or 128GB onboard storage. The smartphone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with HTC's skin layered on top of it out of the box.
In the camera department, the HTC U11+ features a 12-megapixel UltraPixel camera at the back. The rear camera comes with autofocus, OIS, BSI sensor, f/1.7 aperture and dual LED flash. Up front, there is an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. The front camera comes with BSI sensor and f/2.0 aperture.
The HTC U11+ is also IP68 rated which makes it dust and water resistance. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint scanner at the back and uses USB Type-C for charging.
