Just like other platforms, WhatsApp for JioPhone will also have end-to-end encryption so that you can safely chat with your friends. However, chatting is not going to be quite easy for Jio Phone users on the T9 keyboard while the Jio Phone 2 users can take full advantage of the full QWERTY keyboard.
Apart from sending text messages, users can send and receive voice notes, images and other media content. However, as of now WhatsApp for JioPhone does not support voice or video calls and does not allow users to make UPI payments from the application.
