Lenovo K8 Note: Here is what you need to know about the launch

Lenovo India is now set to add another smartphone to its Note series. The company has been teasing about the Lenovo K8 Note by posting few videos and pictures on its social media channels. Lenovo likes to call it #KillerNote and has finally revealed the date when they are going to unveil the smartphone. The company has decided to unveil the smartphone on August 9.

Lenovo India on its social media channels said “After a lot of guesses, most of you got it right! We are bringing to you the #LenovoK8Note that will #KillTheOrdinary smartphones & stand way ahead of its competition! Are you ready to see it uncaging on 09.08.17?”

Lenovo earlier touted about the smartphone using some mathematical calculations, where the company gave a simple equation which gave a tip on the company’s next smartphone. As we see the social media posts by the company, it looks like we can expect an amazing launch. Now we have to see how the company is going to manage to keep up to people’s expectations and how the smartphone will perform in real-life. The company also decided to skip the K7 Note due to some unknown reasons. However, skipping of a number is not new to us, as we have seen something similar by OnePlus with OnePlus 4 and Samsung with the Galaxy Note 6.

According to some previous reports, the upcoming Lenovo K8 Note will be powered by a 1.4GHz MediaTek Helio X20 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM. The smartphone will run on Android Nougat out-of-the-box.
