LG Electronics, the South Korean giant, has finally unveiled its LG K7i expanding its K-series smartphone portfolio. The K7i was announced at the India Mobile Congress 2017, which has kicked-off today. The USP (Unique Selling Proposition) of the smartphone is the new 'Mosquito Away Technology'. As per the company, when this feature is activated it keeps the mosquitoes away.
“LG has always been at the forefront of unique innovations. With this launch, LG is bringing the mosquito away technology closer to the consumers in the form of a mobile device which can be an integral part of their daily lives,” said, LG India’s Amit Gujral.
Specifications
In terms of specifications, the LG K7i features a 5-inch On-Cell HD IPS LCD display which makes it a compact smartphone and easy to hold even with small hands. The smartphone is powered by a quad-core chipset for which the information is not yet revealed by the company. The K7i comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. Under the hood, the smartphone packs in a 2,500mAh battery. The device runs on Android Marshmallow out of the box.

In the camera department, the LG K7i sports an 8-megapixel rear camera. Up front, there is a 5-megapixel selfie shooter.
Price and Availability
The LG K7i is launched with a price tag of Rs. 7,990 and will available via both online and offline markets in India. The smartphone is available only in a Brown colour variant.
