Meizu has just launched the Meizu 16th, Meizu 6T, Meizu C9, Meizu POP and the Meizu EP52 in India. Here's what you need to know

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Meizu has made a comeback to the Indian market, after almost 2 years. In order to make the comeback a remarkable one, the company has launched a total of five new devices in the country. Here's everything you need to know about Meizu's new portfolio.

Meizu 16th

While the new portfolio consists of many devices, limelight at the launch event was stolen by Meizu 16th. It is the company's latest flagship offering and it is here to compete against the likes of OnePlus 6T and Asus ZenFone 5Z. Meizu 16th is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. It features a 6-inch FullHD+ AMOLED display which allows the space for an in-display fingerprint scanner.

On the optics front, the flagship smartphone sports a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 12-megapixel primary and a 20-megapixel secondary lens with six-LED flash. Up front, there is a 20-megapixel selfie shooter.

Meizu has also launched a new budget-oriented smartphone, the Meizu 6T. It is powered by the MediaTek MT6750 SoC paired with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage. It sports a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD display with an 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it carries a 3,000mAh battery.

As for the cameras, the Meizu 6T gets a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 13-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary lens. There is also an 8-megapixel front facing camera for selfies.

Meizu C9

Meizu 9C is a new entry-level smartphone from the Chinese firm that comes with a new UNISOC chip. The new chip is said to be faster than the competition including the Snapdragon 450. Meizu C9 packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage which is further expandable using a microSD card. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box.

For optics, the phone gets a 13-megapixel camera at the back and an 8-megapixel selfie shooter.

Meizu POP

Apart from a new range of smartphones, the company has also brought in a new pair of wireless earphones. Meizu POP is the new truly wireless earphones looking to compete against the likes of Apple's Airpods.

Meizu EP52

For the people who do not like truly wireless earphones or just don't want to spend that much, Meizu has got you covered with the EP52. They are Bluetooth earphones with a neckband and looking to give a competition to OnePlus' Bullets Wireless.

Price and Availability

Meizu has priced the products quite aggressively

Meizu's new flagship smartphone, 16th will be available for a price of Rs. 39,999. Meizu 6T and C9, on the other hand, will be available for Rs. 7,999 and Rs. 5,999 respectively. Interestingly, the company is selling the entry-level C9 for just Rs. 4,999 as a part of their introductory offer. As for the earphones, the Meizu POP comes with a price tag of Rs. 6,999, whereas, the EP52 is available for Rs. 1,999. The company's new portfolio is currently Amazon exclusive and everything will be available on the e-commerce website starting today.
