OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro launched in India: Price, specifications and more

OnePlus finally launches OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro with Snapdragon 855 and up to 12GB RAM. Here is everything you need to know.

OnePlus 7 Pro is the latest flagship by the company

OnePlus has finally launched the much-anticipated smartphones, the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. While the OnePlus 7 is a successor to the last year's flagship OnePlus 6T, the OnePlus 7 pro is a new addition to the family with more premium design features. Here's everything you need to know about the new flagship series.

Price, Availability, and Offers

As for the pricing, the OnePlus 7 has launched for a starting price of Rs. 32,999 and it goes all the way up to Rs. 37,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant. The base variant of the OnePlus 7 Pro is priced at Rs. 48,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage. The 8GB+256GB and 12GB+256GB variants of the same retail at Rs. 52,999 and Rs. 57,999 respectively.

The OnePlus 7 will be available starting May 17th and the OnePlus 7 Pro will arrive on May 28th. There will be launch offers including cashback of up to Rs 2,000 on SBI cards along with up to 70% buyback on Servify and benefits up to Rs 9,300 for Jio users. Also the new bullets wireless 2 are available at Rs 5,990. There will be pop-up events tomorrow May 15th for users to experience and buy the device in select cities, namely Banglore, Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad.

OnePlus 7 Specifications

The OnePlus 7 sports a 6.41-inch FullHD+ optic AMOLED display with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio and a resolution of 2340x1080. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 processor coupled with 6GB or 8GB of RAM. The dual-sim handset is available in 128GB and 256GB storage options. The device sports first in class UFS 3.0 for the ultra-fast read write speeds. It runs on Android 9 Pie-based OxygenOS out of the box with Android Q coming shortly. Under the hood, there is a 3,700mAh battery powering up everything with support for the company's 20W dash charging technology seen in the other OnePlus devices in the past.

As for the optics, the OnePlus 7 features a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. Up front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie shooter. The smartphone is available in Mirror Grey and stunning Red colour.

OnePlus 7 Pro Specifications

As for the OnePlus 7 Pro, it comes with a larger 6.64-inch QuadHD+ fluid AMOLED display without any sort of notch. The display runs at 90Hz for superfluid experience and supports HDR10+. It is powered by the same Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. There is a liquid cooling system to keep the device cool during intensive gaming sessions. The device packs in up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage There are also options for the 6/8GB of RAM along with 128 GB storage options also. The device sports first in class UFS 3.0 for the ultra-fast read write speeds. Just like its younger sibling, the OnePlus 7 Pro also runs on Google's Android 9 Pie operating system. Under the hood, it carries a 4,000mAh battery with support for company's all new 30W wrap charging technology seen in the OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition.

In terms of the optics, the OnePlus 7 Pro features a triple-camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel Sony IMX586 primary sensor with f/1.6 aperture and a 16-megapixel wide angle sensor for photos up to 117 degrees and an 8-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, there is a 16-megapixel pop-up selfie camera. The camera supports Laser autofocus along with PDAF and CAF for sharp images at a very small distance. The smartphone will be available in Nebula Blue, Mirror Grey, and Almond.
