Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer, is now gearing up to launch its flagship successor in India. The company's selfie centric Oppo F5 smartphone is getting an upgrade, the Oppo F7. The company is skipping on the F6 in favour of the F7 which is set to launch in India soon. Oppo India has made the announcement via their official twitter handle.

The company has tweeted a teaser image of the upcoming smartphone. As per the teaser, the Oppo F7 will sport a full-screen display with a notch up front. The smartphone launch in India will be hosted by a cricketer. The company is also playing a guessing game on their Twitter handle where people have to guess which cricketer are they talking about.

Meanwhile, Oppo is also working on launching the Oppo R15 in China. The Oppo R15 will be a successor to the Oppo R11 launched last year. As the R11 and OnePlus 5 shared the same design language, possibilities are that the OnePlus 6 will look like the Oppo R15. Interestingly, the Oppo F7 also looks a lot like the Oppo R15 we saw in the leaked images.
According to a report by FoneArena, Oppo India made a tweet earlier mentioning the launch date of the smartphone as March 26. The tweet was deleted soon after posting it.
