Design and Build

Design wise the Kingston Datatraveler HyperX 3.0 looks just like a normal USB Thumb Drive that was made with high quality premium materials. It may be a bit bigger or a lot bigger than the wafer thin USB 2.0 Drives but you have to keep in mind the huge capacity with the speeds of an SSD are also packaged with the Drive. Though looking like a normal USB Drive the materials used feel very premium and the build of the HyperX 3.0 is commendable as it feels very rugged as if it was made for military personnel that are in the war areas.

The Drive comes with a rubberized cap rather than a retractable drive unit which we feel would have been better as people tend to lose the cap most after the whole drive itself. The Kingston HyperX 3.0 comes in a blue colour with textured rubberized finishing which feels really premium and makes the device look really apart from any other drive currently available in the market.

The drive itself is just a normal USB and does not feature any other kinds of fancy offerings like USB Type-C or Thunderbolt, but it still offers more speeds than the aforementioned. Though it may sometimes be a problem that due to its girth the Drive may block the second port but that may not also be a problem due to the huge capacity and good speeds.

Kingston also has branded the product really subtle and well that is really good of Kingston because people do not want to advertise what they use but instead they want good looking products.

There is also a notification light in the Kingston logo that is not to bright that it will hurt your eyes, it is just the right amount of light that notifies you that the drive is running perfectly.

Performance

For us at Beetel Bite, the HyperX has been one exceptional device that everyone on our team wanted to review, since most of the USB Drives that we get or buy lack the quality and the performance that the HyperX 3.0 provided us with. And the biggest thing to note that in this day and age of the 4 channel architecture devices we have got a market breaking 8 architecture device from kingston, and another worth seeing point is that we have another breakthrough in technology from Kingston in this drive is that they have provided high speed and high capacity drives as the most USB drives from any other players cap out at 128GB.

Conclusion

For Portable Storage the Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 wins out for it's storage capacity, transfer speeds, ease of use, and full compatibility. Very few devices can so easily connect into every computer and give you high performance and quality. The USB 2.0 maxes the speeds out at 30MB/s and that isn't exactly speed, while its newer version USB 3.0 is the right hardware, and provides speeds near 200 MB/s and that's where Kingston DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 steps in the market.

In the tests that we did the HyperX 3.0 provided at 200MB/s read and 135MB/s write speeds in sequential transfers, And in random transfers we saw a little drop off, but given the target use case of moving large media files around instead of using this as a system drive, random access times are not as important. What is important is that we a were able to write a 3GB file into the HyperX 3.0 in under 30 seconds or copy it off into the computer in just 15 seconds, that's where all of the users of the HyperX 3.0 will appreciate what it offers. Overall the DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 lives up to its claims and then some more of super fast transfer speeds.

Kingston calls the DataTraveler HyperX 3.0 their fastest USB drive to date. It clearly is in our words "The best and the Fastest USB that we at our offices have ever used" the massive speeds that we encountered while testing this device were simply overwhelming gains over any prior USB Device that we have present in our office. Thanks to the new eight-channel architecture to bring such a good USB for our use. For anyone who needs huge transfer speeds and big capacity USB, the HyperX 3.0 is a clear winner.

4G in India is it worth it?

Airtel has launched 4G Internet Services all around the Indian Subcontinent, and it is the first provider of 4G Internet Services all over India, though other providers trying the same in some pilot cities, but it is impressive how fast Airtel finished the pilot program and started the India wide 4G connectivity.

Airtel also guarantees that it is the first telecom operator to roll out 4G services Nationwide, It has done a rollout across 296 cities, and also what is surprising that they are providing 4G services at 3G prices which we all at Beetel Bite feel is really great.

We all have been using Airtel's 4G services at our offices and we must say that though it being sucking on data really really quick we do find it really really fast, and due to we having been used most of the services that Indian Service Providers we can say that Airtel with 4G Services has done a pretty great job.

The phone has been rumoured to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 SoC, along with 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, Android Lollipop (v5.1.1) and a 2300mAh battery. With the 2nd Gen. Moto G recently getting a price cut to Rs. 9,999, the Moto G (2015) can be expected to be priced around the 12k mark. Here's taking a look at how the Moto G (2015) might look.

The phone will retain its 5-inch display with 720p HD resolution.

The bottom of the phone will have the microUSB/power port, and the phone would feature its stereo speaker setup.

So we are here today with the product review of the ASUS ZenPower, and we here will find out with you that is this power bank just as innovative as their New Zenfone 2 or just another half cooked ripoff that they threw into the market, like every other company.

Design

The design of the ASUS ZenPower is what ASUS is saying the credit card design. It is just marginally larger than a standard credit card that we use, but it is also having the heft and thickness that is surely not of a credit card. The thickness of the ZenPower is 22 mm and it weighs in at 215 grams, though it being lighter than every other power bank in the market but due to the lower footprint that the Zen Power has it feels a little heavy when you start to use it. The Review unit we got was silver colored and was accompanied with a blue colored skin, and we have to say that it is looking good. The Top Panel is with all the LED Lights, with the USB Port and a button, the bottom has all the ratings and the 10,050 mAh marking.

Connectivity and indicators

The top panel contains of, all the ports and the LED lights along with a button that can be used to check how much battery is left in the power bank. There are 2 ports which is the Normal USB port and a micro USB port, There also are 4 LED Lights that will show you the status of the battery remaining in the Zen Power Power Bank, and the button is the power button which will turn on the power bank.

Charging Time

Charging the power bank could be a drag though using it is really fun, it takes about 6-8 hours of charging time so we used to leave it to charge overnight, Using it was the fun part it could charge 3-4 phones one after another and still could have little charge left which is great.

Performance

The performance of the Zen Power is exceptional one charge would charge a OnePlus One 3 times, but the most exceptional thing about the power bank was that when it was not charged and not used for 10 days it still held the charge that it had when tested 10 days before. The ZenPower uses a technology inside it's power battery that turns the power bank off when the device is charged fully or when it has charged your device fully. It has a lot of security features that are coming these days in a lot of the power banks like the xiaomi mi banks, the OnePlus Power Bank. The security features included are like short-circuit protection, reset protection, over charge/over discharge protection and many many more.

Microsoft launches cheaper Surface Pro 3 with i7 processor and 128GB of storage

Microsoft has just gone ahead and announced the 6th model to its pre-existing range of Surface convertibles. The New Surface Pro 3 is having the same Core i7 processor clocked at 1.7GHz and has 8GB of memory same as its older Surface versions, but becomes shy in the storage area slightly: whereas in the older i7 models of the Surface you had either 256GB or 512GB of storage options, but instead the new variant comes with only 128GB of storage. But don't be a sceptic that downgrade, fortunately, brings the price of the surface pro 3 down. The Newer 128GB variant with the Core i7 processor costs $1,299 that is the same price tag as the Core i5 version of the Surface Pro 3 with 256GB of storage. That processor boost is quite a lot considering that you can attach an External Hard Drive.

By this day The Surface Pro 3 has turned more than a year old now, and a new offering from Microsoft was needed and now that this new model of the Surface Pro 3 could be Microsoft just offering a cheaper option before they make the move and bring in the much newer and better Surface Pro 4 that is to be sure just around the corner. But the timing that is just before September — means that Microsoft could just simply be trying to know the potential Surface owners that are gearing up to go back to school. At the same time, the company is also introducing updated LTE Surface 3 models in Germany and the UK this week which by now was necessary by Microsoft because every other competitor has LTE on their convertible devices. Microsoft says the devices, which went on sale in Japan first two weeks ago, will become available in the US in the coming weeks.
