BitTorrent vs uTorrent

Bit Torrent is a protocol (a set of rules and description of how to do things) allowing you to download files quickly by allowing people downloading the file to upload parts of it at the same time. Bit Torrent is often used for distribution of very large files. Bit Torrent is available for Windows, Mac OS X, Linux and Android

uTorrent is a Bit Torrent client. A 'client' in this case is a computer program that follows the rules of a protocol. For eg. HTTP is the protocol used to download web pages and other content and your browser is the program you use. uTorrent is available for Windows, Android and Linux As per us Bit Torrent Rules and we at Beetel Bite approve it.

How to use Whatsapp and other android apps on computer

Whatsapp is getting so popular that everyone wants it. Its a very good messenger but many people do not have a BlackBerry, Apple or Android device. So here's a trick for using whatsapp and other android apps on your pc. Follow these steps:-1.) Download Blue Stacks from here. 2.) Install it. 3.) Run bluestacks. 4.) Click on search to search for apps and type Whatsapp. 5.) Download and install whatsapp. 6.) Run whatsapp and it will ask for your mobile no., provide it your mob no. 7.)  It will send a sms to your mobile and it will first try to search for the sms itself but it will not succeed so it will ask for a verification code. 8.) Enter the Verification code which it sent to your mobile. You can also search for many apps like Viber, Fruitninja and many more android apps. BlueStacks is nothing, just a android emulator.

Rumor | Apple iWatch

Apple iWatch Apple is rumored to be working on a smart-watch that could be ready for production in the 1st  half of 2013. According to the rumors the watch would be having a 1.5 inch OLED screen which will actually be called PMOLED which is kind of higher type of OLED screens. The watch will also feature a ITO coated glass. And yes this is obvious that the watch would connect to other devices like the Sony watch but with Bluetooth 4.0 or NFC which is not clear at the moment.

The fact is that the old Nano with the touch screen could be used as a watch with attachments which made a boom in the market and yes now, Apple has redesigned the Nano in a more intutive way that the next product could be an iWatch.

Design

The Envy X2 is made from attractive brushed aluminium gives it a Simple Metallic Aesthetic that makes it look an expensive gadget.
The device is sleek silver colored back that has its logo embossed very well in the center made to give really nice feel .
The standby and volume control on the upper left and upper right corners of the back panel rather than on the sides of the tablet like the other tablets.

Display

The Envy X2's modest 1366 X 768 resolution, and it's 11.6 inch screen provides sharp images and rich colors.
The touch experience is completely fluid and responsive.

Sound

Its Sound is also very good as it has got beats audio.
It's sound is very good but it is not much audible because the speakers are mounted on the bottom which makes it a very bad placement.

Keyboard and Touch Pad

The keyboard on the Envy X2's Dock is one of the most inaccurate, uncomfortable typing experience provider. The keyboard was so cramped, stiff, and unresponsive.
Our wrists were also uncomfortable as they hung over the edge of the narrow palm rest which was very uncomfortable.
The touch pad was quiet small for our fingers maybe our fingers are adapted to the big touch pads. and well we have to appreciate that it is not that rough and lets you do various multi-touch gestures.

Ports

the tablet itself has many ports on the bottom of the tablet, including a micro SD card slot, a 3.5 mm jack and proprietary port that connects to the dock itself or the charger.
The Keyboard provides 2 USB 2.0 ports and one full sized HDMI port.

Cameras

The front facing 720p webcam takes very bright but extremely noisy images.
The 8 MP rear camera takes really sharp and colorful images better than iPad 2.

Performance

A 1.8 GHz atom CPU, 2 GB of RAM and 64 GB of slow-writing Flash memory, the $849 Envy X2 works like a netbook.

Battery Life

As a tablet, is provides 6 hours and 52 min.
With the keyboard attached the X2 lasts for 11 hours and 52 mins.

VERDICT

It provides a solid experience of windows 8 as a tablet with it's premium feel and colorful screen.
And the low performing battery it has, has let us down.
It also disappointed us that it is not much better than a cheap net book.
So we call it a $849 net book and yes we do not recommend this product.

Key Specifications

  • Metallic spun Finish Design
  • Nvidia Tegra 3 Quad-Core CPU
  • 1080P Full HD playback
  • Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich
  • 8MP rear auto-focus camera with LED flash
  • CMOS sensor
 What We Like
  What We Dislike
 Light and Portable
 Average Camera
 Highly Readable Screen
Screen not as good as Galaxy tab or iPad
 Fast Processor
 Minor Recording Bugs
 Smooth HD Video Playback
 Still Pricey

Thankfully the transformer prime has taken its looks from the ASUS Zenbook and that makes it get the WOW factor that the iPad has got. It's 10.1 inch screen with a sturdy Gorilla Glass, Still has it's disadvantages which are while holding the tablet the edges pinch a bit. Physical buttons are limited to standby and a volume rocker. To turn  the tablet into a laptop, a small connector that snaps into place to combine the Chiclet-Style Keyboard with a slide switch to release the Tablet from the keyboard.

About The Keyboard

Chiclet style full QWERTY keyboard and trackpad that is similar to the ASUS Netbooks that you can find in the market.

Features of the Keyboard

  • Built-in USB 2.0 Port
  • SD Card Support
  • ASUS Cloud Storage Board Included inside the Keyboard
  • 22Wh Battery

Processor

The First Device to come with Nvidia Tegra 3 Quadcore processor is the ASUS Transformer Prime.
It's such a powerful processor that while switching screens, playing the most graphic intensive games we did not find any lag at any point of time in the testing period which was daily use and even this post is written with it.

Screen

It is a gorgeous display on which we watched movies and played games and did not want to come back to the old laptop display it was really amazing.
Thanks to the Super IPS+ technology bundled inside it we really really loved it and we sincerely did.

Camera

Yes we did not like the camera a little bit as we also use DSLR's and yes the iPad so for the camera we did not like it as if you are talking on skype the camera sometimes Flickers, Blacks out, Freezes, etc.
But yes the back camera did give some good results.

Battery

The tablet gives a good life of 12 hours and the keyboard gives an 8 hour battery atleast for us that makes the battery total of 18 hours that is really nice.
And by us i mean really exhausting the battery to its full with really intensive graphics.

VERDICT

We totally recommend this tablet for people who like to work and have fun together without charging the battery.
But for more intensive people who can charge and wants more out of a tablet surely go in for an iPad as it is for the same price.
