Realme India has just launched the Realme 3 smartphone, which is the successor to the Realme 3. The new smartphone comes with improved hardware and a lower price tag. Realme 2 users, who are planning to upgrade, should either wait for the Realme 3 Pro or look elsewhere. Here's why
While the Realme 2 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 450, the Realme 3 gets the latest MediaTek Helio P70 processor. Both the smartphones sport a 6.2-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1520x720 pixels. However, Realme 3 gets more screen-to-body ratio as there is a waterdrop style notch now. Both the devices pack in 4230mAh battery and come with 10W chargers in the box. Also, the smartphones come with up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of onboard storage.
As for the optics, the Realme 3 and Realme 2 come with a dual-camera setup at the back consisting of a 13-megapixel primary and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. However, Realme 3 gets a wider f/1.8 aperture lens whereas the Realme 2 had f/2.2 aperture. While its predecessor sports an 8-megapixel camera up front, the Realme 3 comes with a 13-megapixel selfie snapper.
