Samsung is all geared up to bring its 2018 edition of the popular A-series of smartphones. Just like most of the smartphones, we have been hearing about the leaks and rumours of the 2018 A-series as well as the J-series for quite a while now. Recent reports claim that the Galaxy A7 (2018) which will be an upgrade to the Galaxy A7 (2017) will now be launched as the Samsung Galaxy A8+.
A-series is a range of smartphones from the company that sits at the sweet spot between mid-range and premium smartphones. These series bring together mid-range like specifications and flagships like quality or design. Samsung Galaxy A5 (2018) and the Galaxy A8+ are expected to be the first mid-range smartphones from the company to feature an 18:9 display which they like to call the Infinity display.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the Galaxy A8+ is expected to feature a 5.7-inch Super AMOLED infinity display with a resolution of 2160x1080 pixels with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone could be powered by the Exynos 7885 or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 SoC depending on the market.
