Spice unveils its first 4G smartphone Stellar 519 at Rs 8,499
Indian manufacturer Spice has unveiled its first 4G smartphone named the Spice Stellar 519 at a price of Rs 8,499 in India. The device will be available in two colour variants namely Slate Grey and Steel Blue. The company says that the device will be available across the country via several online retail stores and Spice Hotspot stores.
The smartphone sports a 5-inch FWVGA display with a 480 x 854 pixel resolution with 196 ppi pixel density. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB RAM.
The Stellar 519 comes equipped with an 8MP rear camera with auto-focus and a 3.2MP front facing camera. It also comes with Proximity and Light sensors, Snapdragon Audio+ and Voice+ features and also supports multiple Indian languages. In terms of storage, the device includes 8GB internal space that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on rather older Android 4.4.4 KitKat.
The Stellar 519 is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone supports 4G connectivity, WiFi/Hotspot/Wi-Fi tethering and Bluetooth 4.0.
