Xiaomi is slowly rolling out the MIUI 10 update to its every smartphone. The Chinese smartphone manufacturer has now started rolling out the OTA update for the four-year-old Redmi Note 3. Here's what it brings and everything else you need to know.
MIUI 10 brings faster animations for a smooth user experience. It also introduces gesture based navigation, a new notification shade and recents menu. While the UI has been updated, the version of the operating system remains the same.
As this is a slow rollout, it might take some time before the update reaches every smartphone. Once the update is available on your phone, you should see a notification for the same. Tapping on the notification will allow you to install the update. However, if you want to check for the update manually, head over to Settings > About Phone > System Update and tap on Check for updates.
