Chinese smartphone manufacturer, Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a new power bank, the Mi Power Bank 3. It is said to come with a capacity of 20,000mAh. Xiaomi is set to launch the power bank on January 11.

Mi Power Bank 3 will be built out of a single mould of plastic and will have a matte texture all around. It will come in only stealth black finish, which will give it a much more premium and subtle look. However, as it carries a huge capacity battery it is going to be quite bulky in comparison to something like the Mi Power Bank Pro.

Unlike the last generation, the new Mi Power Bank 3 will come with three ports for output. This means the user will be able to charge up to three phones/tablets simultaneously. While the two USB-A ports will deliver an output of 5V at 2.4A or 9V at 2A or 12V at 1.5A, only one port will deliver 5V at 3A.

The third device can be charged using the USB Type-C port, which can deliver an output of up to 45W. It is a two-way port as it will be used to charge the power bank itself as well. Additionally, the power bank supports fast charging which means you can provide 45W of power to juice up the bank quickly. Interestingly, the Mi Power Bank 3 will be eligible to charge MacBook Air and a few other laptops with such power output.
