BlackBerry is planning to launch their first smartphone with an 18:9 display. The smartphone is currently being referred to as BlackBerry Ghost. The handset first surfaced online back in February 2018.
The BlackBerry Ghost is expected to launch in India first and then make its way to the other markets. The smartphone is being designed and manufactured by Optiemus Infracom. For those who are not aware, Optiemus Infracom manufactures and sells BlackBerry smartphones in India.
After nothing new on these BlackBerry Ghost handsets from Optiemus for awhile, finally hearing that a summer release is expected. (Also told that the dual rear cameras feature low light enhancement and optical zoom.)

Renowned tipster Evan Blass recently tweeted confirming that the BlackBerry Ghost will be launching this summer. By this, we can say that the smartphone will be unveiled sometime in June or July. As the devices are being manufactured by Optiemus Infracom, the BlackBerry Ghost will be first made available in India.

Meanwhile, BlackBerry is also gearing up to launch the BlackBerry KeyOne successor soon. So, we might see two or more phones from the company this quarter. Both the smartphones will sport a dual-camera setup at the back.
As far as the specifications are concerned, the BlackBerry Key2 (KeyOne successor) is said to feature a 4.5-inch Full HD IPS LCD display. The smartphone is expected to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC. The dual-SIM handset will run on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. The smartphone will also feature a dual-camera setup at the back.
