Google was spotted working on a new feature for its Google Play Store dubbed Google Play Pass. The company is now finally gearing up to launch the feature. They made the announcement via the official twitter handle of Google Play. With the help of this feature, Android users will gain access to hundreds of premium apps and paid games.
The Google Play Pass service is quite similar to Apple Arcade, which was launched earlier this year. Apple Arcade allows users to access paid apps and games by paying a certain subscription amount. While Google has not yet given any further details about the Play Pass service, it is confirmed that the service will be live sooner than later.

According to the leaks and rumours, the Google Play Pass subscription service is said to be available at USD 4.99 (roughly Rs. 360) per month. The company is also said to offer a free trial for 10 days. At the time of launch, the subscription is expected to offer access to premium apps such as Stardew Valley, Marvel Pinball and Limbo and more.

Since Google has a different pricing strategy for India in its YouTube Premium service, the company might choose a variable pricing structure across various markets. This means that Android users in India might get the subscription service at a lower price while it could be costlier in the US or Europe.
