Huawei Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro with Kirin 970 SoC to launch on October 16

Huawei today during a press event being held at IFA 2017 in Berlin announced that they will be launching the new Huawei Mate 10 and the Mate 10 Pro on October 16. This announcement will be made at a press event in Munich. This announcement was made by the CEO of Huawei's Consumer Business Group.

The company also announced a new processor the Kirin 970 which is based on the 10nm technology and has Artificial Intelligence embedded into it. The company also confirmed that both the smartphones will be the first ones from the company to sport this chipset along with a full-screen display.

The company previously had put the Huawei Mate 10 smartphone is one of their tweets which showcases the device to come with a dual-camera setup on the back just like the P-series.

It is being expected that the Mate 10 Pro will be much more powerful than the regular Mate 10 and not just a small incremental increase. This can be actually true as last year the company launched two Mate devices, the Mate 9 and the Mate 9 Pro, the Mate 9 Pro came with a Quad-HD curved display, much more RAM and internal storage.
