Nokia 6 receives an OTA update fixing Wi-Fi compatibility issues and more

Nokia 6, since its launch, has gone on sale twice exclusively via Amazon India. The Nokia 6 is not available in the retail markets and is currently being sold via flash sale on the e-commerce website Amazon India. The sales of the mid-range smartphone by HMD Global has received a devastating response as a million people registered for the flash sale. For those who have been lucky enough to get their hands-on the Nokia 6 via these flash sales by now, Nokia has started rolling out a software update which brings a set of improvements to the device.

Nokia 6 devices have started receiving an update which weighs around 163MB and brings the latest Android security patch and fixes some Wi-Fi compatibility issue. This new update also brings a new feature called Screen Capture. Screen Capture was always easy by using the power and volume down button combination, but with this new feature, Nokia made it easier by allowing users to take a screenshot by tapping an icon on the notification panel. Except for the Wi-Fi improvements, the new feature and the Android security patch, the update also brings overall stability improvements.
