LG India through its official Twitter handle has revealed that on August 10 it will be launching the LG Q6 in India. As reported earlier this is the toned down variant of the LG G6, it will support the 18:9 FullVision display just like the LG G6. As you can see in the image below the Q6 will be priced under Rs. 20,000. LG in the image has said, "Q6 at Rs. 1_,990 Revealing 10th August". The Q6 is being pitted against the MotoG5 Plus, Samsung Galaxy On Max amongst others.

The Q6 sports a 5.5-inch display along with a resolution of 2160X1080 pixels per inch. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of Internal Storage. It is powered by a 3,000mAh non-removable battery. As for the optics, the phone comes with a 13-megapixel primary camera and it features a 5-megapixel wide-angle front camera. As for the software, the phone will run on Google's Android 7.1 Nougat operating system coupled with LG's UX 6.0 skin on top.

It is also being expected that LG while introducing the LG Q6 in India will also couple it with introductory offers which will make the deal even more sweeter.  However, we do feel that LG has made the Q6 a bit underpowered and could have been much better. LG also is expected to soon launch a toned down variant of the LG V20 with a similar dual screen format.
